Another blog-to-job story

Yesterday I interviewed for a developer position (yes, I know I start a new job on Monday -- never stop looking elsewhere, though) and the recruiter told me he found me through this blog, ostensibly via Google searching. This isn't the first time, either: last year's gig with Lucid Security started when the IT vice president stumbled across this little corner of the blogosphere.

I've heard of blog-to-job stories before, but most of them seem to be from fairly well-known bloggers and tech people, not little guys like me. I wonder if this trickle-down trend will continue, and if keeping a blog will end up becoming as powerful an attractor as posting résumés on the job boards.
