Adam's tagged me for a meme (at my request), so here you go:
- "Bad" by U2
- One of U2's many anthems. This one just happens to begin with B.
- "Basket Case" by Green Day
- I like this song for the little things -- the hi-hat before the drums come in, the twangy bass fills.
- "Between the Wheels" by Rush
- The beginning synth stabs instantly date this, but if you get past that it's a great but underplayed song. Glad they dusted it off for the R30 tour.
- "Black Flag" by King's X
- I could be Doug Pinnick, if only I was a tall black dude with spiky hair.
- "Blood and Fire" by Indigo Girls
- The Phoenix Trap did a passable cover of this in our live set back in 2000.
- "Blue Monday" by New Order
- Sorry, Adam, but Daft Punk stole that beat. Here's the original.
- "Board Burner" by Mixmaster Mike
- The Beastie Boys owe much of their sound to this guy's turntable skills. This one's from the 'SSX Tricky' video game soundtrack.
- "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen
- I heard a little while back that half of the band is touring with Paul Rodgers and calling themselves Queen. Hopefully Brian and Roger will come to their senses soon.
- "Boombox" by Mosquitos
- A cute loopy song for summer.
- "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
- Going to the Jersey shore next week, so it's fitting I put this in. I don't care if it's a cliché.
